am multiply, severely, visibly disabled.

i have the autism!!higher support needs. // even good day struggle with all iADLs & a lot bADLs.nonverbal. // nonverbal mean all the time. am not nonspeaking, please respect identity language.full time AAC user //autistic catatonia with deterioration & regression // mean get worse later in life not always like this. but even before regression mid support struggle much.visibly autistic & visibly disabled //

DO use severity & deficit & impairment language & autism levels for self. cool if you don't use for yourself but please respect me & my choice & my language.have big social communication impairments. struggle with speech, language, expressive, receptive, ALL communication. have theory of mind impairments. struggle with awareness of self & other people & etc. also have some level of cognitive disability involvement so may struggle understanding things, esp things am not already VERY familiar with.borrow other people words to describe self. mix of communication & comprehension & self awareness issues, may say thing borrow words about self that later on realize not ever true. not mean lying just mean didn't realize.write long & complex & long winded, n struggle to simply into plainer language, because often how already write is clearest way know how write for now. sorry for that.NEED to know this before interacting with me because have significant visible autism and act like it.

physically disabled // full-ish time wheelchair user. power chair + manual chair w power assist. crip / cripple / cripple punk.mentally ill / psychiatrically disabled //queer trans non-binary.person of color.= multiply marginalized.

who am not, AKA what no lived experience // some things, have friends with them, have (? professional? word) knowledge about them, adjacent (sibling) to own identities & experiences & advocacy. so, familiar with them, talk about them often in advocacy.but. want be clear that. do not have lived experience. cannot be your lived experienced source, cannot be your ultimate destination.(none of my stuff should be your ultimate only source, because just am random slug on internet, but this go double for these)i shouldn't be your idea of highest support needs.am not nonverbal from birth. am not this severity from birth. cannot tell you what it like growing up like this.don't have intellectual disability.

love love love slugs. land slugs. sea slugs. >> banana slug best.love snails.love mushie (mushroom). favorite is giant puffball.love wool. love all natural protein fibers. most interact with sheep wool, goat hair (esp mohair), alpaca, camel, silk (esp mulberry). fiber artist! knit + spin.love bread. of course.

  1. have lot lot difficulty reply texts, messages, asks, etc on time. may not respond for days / weeks / months. not mad. nothing personal. yes even if you made angry and apologize and i don’t respond apology, probably not mad just can’t respond.

  2. do not police term use to describe own self. not your business. this include autism level & severity & functioning labels. go away.

  3. read what i write before argue with me tell me levels severity functioning label ableist, or use “go nonverbal” as temporary, or support needs bad. many more. don’t try “change mind.” go away.

  4. no/little ability to step away during conflict and disagree and argue. no/little ability control emotion and tone. may be aggressive by accident and turn disagree into full argue. really sorry. sometimes not sorry.

before you follow!!

do not interact if:

  1. transmeds, truscum, TERF, SWERF, lesbian separatists & "gold star lesbian," aphobes, & other exclusionsists

  2. ED blogs, pro-ana

  3. transabled, transage, & supporter

  4. believe in "narcissistic abuse" & demonize personality disorders, psychosis, DID/OSDD, etc.

  5. tag "q slur"

  1. anti-kink (if you prefer not interact with kink blogs is okay as long as you not anti-kink)

  2. uses "asperger's syndrome," identifies as "aspie", and supporters, while knowing nazi eugenic history behind hans asperger. along with aspie supremacists. (can interact if you don't know said history and are actively educating self about it, and even then on thin ice)

  3. believe "early diagnosis is always privilege," "higher support needs autistics hold privilege over lower support needs people," "higher support needs autistic & visibly autistic is reason why lower support needs autistic not taken seriously," is against the idea that "nonverbal/nonspeaking & semiverbal/semispeaking long term experiences and not episodes" (the word you look for is speech loss), etc. (unless you are here to educate self, and again even then you are on thin ice)

  1. have level 2/3 autism & higher support needs & language and wider communication troubles, please interact w that in mind.

  2. because communication difficulty, please assume best intention if possible and communicate directly. cannot understand hidden messages and will not use hidden messages in own communication.

  3. have lot lot difficulty responding to texts, messages, asks, etc on time. may not respond for days/weeks/even months. not mad and nothing personal.

  4. do not give me reality checks unless i ask explicitly.

before you follow!!

  1. do not police the langauge i use to describe my experience & identities. this includes autism severity & functioning labels. do not tell me i have internalized ableism because i use them to describe self.

  2. don't have ability to step away on my own when conflict happen. don't have ability to regulate emotions and tone. may step into disagreement very aggressively by accident and turn regular disagreement into argument. not excuse for behavior, just explanation to keep in mind while interact with me.

  3. support neopronouns, but neopronouns sometimes inaccessible to me so often can't use them even though want to. please provide alternatives like he/she/they.

  4. know that. just because you as autistic person can regulate emotions, mask, not do this symptom or that symptom, etc., doesn't mean i have same ability. once again, reminder that am level 2/3 & higher support needs.

high support needs means need help every day on most of the basic ADLs (activities of daily living).not being able to talk and take care of hygine and do things without help but only on bad days valid but not the same as not being able to do all of that every day or whole life.temporarily not being able to talk during bad times not similar to being nonspeaking everyday. not good comparison. doesn't give you right to speak about nonspeaking experiences.low support needs autistic needs help (because low support not no support) but high support needs autistic need significantly more help every day on most ADLs.if your bad day looks like my good day then we are not the same.

saying all of that is not dismissing low support autistics' needs. people can talk about low support needs autistics without erasing & speaking over high support needs autistics and/or pretending autism is a monolith and all autistics are like white low support needs speaking autistics. or else it's eugenics.if your understanding or model of support needs don't include autistics who needs help with feeding, grooming & using restroom dressing, basic safety, then it's eugenics.yes many autistics need less help on one area and more on the other but there are also autistics who need help on basic ADLs like the ones i listed above and not stereotypes or bad representation.
